How to you sex rosy bourkes? My 2 look different to each other but they act the same- like males- (I have another male normal so I compare them to him and they are pretty similar) Thanks
Rosy Bourkes don't have any outward appearance that makes them easy to sex like the Normal colored Bourkes do. Some females have darker faces then the males, but that is not a certain way of telling. Some males have darker faces too and a few females may have lighter faces, especially if very light rose or pink. You have to determine either by their behavior or have them DNA tested. I use Health Gene in Canada to DNA ours. They have a website with information. I have some posts on "Sexing." Enter "Sexing" or "Sexing Bourkes" into the Search Box or click on it in the Label List to have more of those posts come up.
