A SPLENDID HEN SINGING! (Also called a Scarlet-chested Parakeet)

OUR SPLENDID PARAKEET MATED PAIR. These two parented one baby before coming to live with us. However, Splendids do not go right back to the nest like Bourke Parakeets do. I doubt we will see any babies from them until next year, possibly in the Spring. Meanwhile, they are very enjoyable members of our household.
